Philip Morre lives in Venice, where he works as a translator,
having had a second-hand bookshop in the Ghetto for ten years
before reading declined.
He has none the less published three pamphlets and two full-length collections of poetry, The Sadness of Animals (2012) and the bilingual English/Italian Istantanea di ippopatamo con banane /Snapshot of Hippo with Bananas (2019), some poems from which, along with more recent efforts, can be read on this site.
